Appearance: Naraj is about 31 meters (101 feet), long his wingspan is 15 meters (50 feet). From head to claw, you can tell that Naraj is a fast flier and is resilient and broad shouldered. His crimson scales shine brightly under the sun and are sure to dazzle anyone below. And he looks into ones soul with his dark black eyes.
His battle scars are nicks here and there nothing as noticeable as his rider's scar. His nose points upward with a little horn on the tip.
Personality:
Naraj's personality is fiery, and is always quick to jump into a challenge. But, hes also protective of his rider, ever since the attack on them four years ago. He doesn't let many get close to her. Afraid that they might hurt her. Her apprentice's dragons are always on his nerves for they are young and imputent. But he puts up with them.
He wishes one day to mate and have a clutch of his own to watch over as they find masters. He's always nice and courteous to the lady dragons, and Aria always pokes a little fun at him. Calling him the little gentlemen.

Background:
From the moment Naraj came out her knew that little 14 year old Aria was his life mate. And when she had her bright and bubbly attitude he was happy. The morning bathing and oiling, her feeding him, the training with Frida's dragon Genova. Genova was like a mother too him scolding him, rewarding him, protecting him, everything.
And he still remembers his first flight, and when he got in major trouble. They were only supposed to glide about 5 feet from the ground, Naraj went 30 feet and was flying faster then anyone could catch him. The scolding when he did land from Genova and Aria was harsh, but hey he didn't listen. From that night on he would sneak from the Ferin to get another dose of excitement to fly.
Then his first ridden flight. With Aria on his back, he made sure not to go to fast, he didn't want Aria flying off his back. But, they did good. No scolding.
During their Senior Apprenticeship they went on a quest with Frida and Genova, and thats when the attack happened. It was too fast, they had flown in from all sides. Naraj saw Frida fall and ran over to Genova's side. Once a rider dies the dragon does aswell. Genova was like a mother to him he didn't want to leave her there but, Aria had been hurt they needed to get out of there.
After that they were promoted and it was like nothing ever happened. Of couse they had a funeral for them, but it was never spoken of it was like if no one cared that they had died. So from that point on he became protective over Aria not letting anyone get close to her.
